Sacred Energy Arts Yoga Flow

Taoist Yoga Philosophy: Yin Yoga and the Tao Te Ching

A Yin practice combining long, slow yoga poses with an in-depth philosophical exploration of the “Tao Te Ching.” Translated widely as, “The Way of All Things”, Tao Te Ching is the spiritual foundation of Taoism.  Relax your body and expand your mind in this unique experience.

Fire Dragons**

Kung fu for kids ages 11-14. Kung fu is one of the most influential martial arts in the world.  This class develops discipline, respect, self-control, strength, flexibility, power, coordination, balance and more!

Chi Kung

This guided class is the practice of an ancient Asian system of health and self-development. Slow circular, repetitive movements invoke inner peace and well being.  Learn to cultivate & manage a high grade of energy while building strength and awareness. Chi Kung is said to improve bone density and naturally detoxify the body and mind.

Tai Chi Chuan – Yang style**

Explore the fundamentals and essence of Tai Chi Chuan.  Tai Chi is known for its simplicity, beauty and effectiveness. Practitioners develop strength, calm, suppleness and deep relaxation. Benefits of this art include improved balance and bone density and a heightening of the immune system.  No prior knowledge or experience needed.

Kung Fu Fundamentals**

Great ability begins with a strong foundation and a grasp of key concepts.
This class focuses on the basic martial training principles, concepts and methods.  Students are led through a series of exercises that focus on conditioning, building strength and offensive & defensive strategy.  Training on pads for focus, speed, rhythm and power will be explored.

Kun Tao/ Silat Forms**

Forms are a series of movements that contain martial principles and techniques.  
A pantomime of combat designed to develop power, flow, softness, balance and awareness.  Several types of ancient yet progressive Chinese and Indonesian martial arts forms and applications will be taught.

Sparring**

Combat and self-defense tactics are taught and explored in this thorough, vigorous practice.   Stand up, ground, armed and unarmed techniques are covered. Various disciplines are incorporated for maximum comprehensive effects.  Note: this class is by permission and invitation only.  Prior experience in other committed classes is mandatory.
