In this class you will learn the fundamentals and essence of Tai Chi Chuan. Tai Chi is known for its simplicity, beauty and effectiveness, while developing strength, calm, suppleness and deep relaxation. Benefits of this art include improved balance and bone density as well as strengthening the immune system.

This is a fundamental class; great ability begins and ends with fundamentals. This class focuses on the basic martial training principles, concepts and methods. (Exercises focusing on conditioning, building strength, offense & defense strategy, training on pads for focus, speed, rhythm and power will be explored).

Forms are a series of movements that contain martial principles and techniques. A pantomime of combat designed to develop power, flow, softness, balance& special awareness. Several types of Chinese and Indonesian martial arts forms and applications will be taught.

Combat and Self Defense will be taught and thoroughly explored. Stand up; ground, armed and unarmed techniques will be covered. Various disciplines will be used. This class is by permission and invitation only. Prior experience in other committed classes is mandatory.
