5 Element Qigong Workshop
Qigong is the Chinese practice of energy management through breath, meditation, and body movement.
This is the fundamental training of Chinese traditional healing arts. By following the requirements for the standing stance we cultivate Qi and strengthen the body. In traditional Chinese arts there are 5 elements: fire, water, metal, earth and wood. Each of these elements corresponds with energy pathways (meridians) that are inside of ourselves. The goal of this workshop is to learn the basic tools to open meridians, balance the 5 elements and improve circulation of Qi (life force) and blood. Other benefits of this practice include balance, stress reduction, and functional strength and flexibility.
