Stand Like A Mountain - July SEA Workshop

Feeling overwhelmed by the constant motion of life doesn't have to be your default state. In this month's 2-hour immersion, I will introduce the profound practice of Yi Quan (Intention Fist), focusing on the profound art of standing and moving stillness.

Rather than forcing the body into rigid shapes, we will focus on intelligent, intentional posture to build relaxed power, integrated movement, and the ability to adapt quickly to new situations without losing your center.

In this workshop, you will learn to:

Build Functional Strength: Discover how "standing like a mountain" cultivates deep, sustainable structural power and profound physical relaxation.

Embody the Animal Stances: Explore the unique martial and energetic movements of the Bear, Dragon, Tiger, and Snake to harmonize your body and mind.

Cultivate Adaptability: Train your nervous system and your "ready mind" to face new, dynamic challenges fluidly and without being overwhelmed.
